Do You Know?
Do you know that not all OEM Manufacturers actually make their own toner. Some OEM toner is actually made by a 3rd party and then labeled by the OEM as their own brand. I’m sure you are aware of a few examples.
Do you know that Xerox makes compatible HP toner? Go to Xerox.com and search compatible toner.

Know Your Rights!!!
The biggest combatant of compatible toners are OEM Manufacturers. Consumers are sometimes told by OEM support and sales personnel that the use of remanufactured or compatible supplies may "void your warranty" or "violate the terms of a service contract". THIS IS NOT TRUE, AND IT MAY BE A VIOLATION OF FEDERAL TRADE LAWS IF ENFORCED BY THE MANUFACTURER.
Federal Law
According to Federal Law 93-637, January 4, 1975, Section 102, Part C (Sherman & Clayton Antitrust Acts), and Title 15 US Chapter 50, Section 2302, it is ILLEGAL for an equipment manufacturer to void a warranty due to the usage of a remanufactured or compatible imaging supply.
If you get a service technician that states that it will void a warranty or contract, try and get them to put it in writing.
Equipment used all over the planet successfully use quality 100% compatible consumables and parts.
