 OEM Laser Systems

OEM Laser Systems, was a pioneer and leader in toner cartridge re-manufacturing (aftermarket consumables) on Long Island.  Having received contracts with Long Island Jewish Medical Center, Eaton AIL Systems, Telephonics, Dozens of School Districts, Top accounting firms including Israeloff & Trattner and H&R Block, Major Law firms including the Suffolk County Bar Association, The U.S. Postal Service, Suffolk County Purchasing and many many more great firms & Institutions on Long Island.

In Early 1990, OEM Laser opened in Central Islip / Islandia with nothing more than a Panasonic 1310R copier and 10 empty toner cartridges.

OEM Laser stayed in their original facility until 93-94. Thousands of cartridges flowing in a mere 1200 square foot plant.

Incoming Empty Cores were stored daily on the right wall.

Early Version of a Single Cartridge Rebuild Workstation.  There were many steps in the rebuilding process. Many different tools, vacuums, and precise instruments which allowed for the whole operation's success. 

This 1986 Ford Aerostar picked up and delivered thousands & thousands of cartridges.  The record number was 139 cartridges fitting inside at one time.

In 1994, OEM expanded into a 4000 square foot facility  at 150 Knickerbocker Ave. in Bohemia, NY. By 1996 OEM employed 15 employees and had many new toner cartridge and service contracts. 

OEM Laser Systems built over 25 different types of toner and drum cartridges and carried the parts to service & support over 2500 laser printers Island Wide.

In 1997 OEM Laser Systems was successfully sold to the California Cartridge Company of Concord, CA. who is still operating today.
